About LunchyMenu

LunchyMenu makes it easy—and a little more fun—for Lower Merion families to see what’s for lunch. Check the week at a glance, switch between your family’s schools, or print a colorful monthly calendar, all from your phone or computer.

A family project

LunchyMenu is built by a local parent and two students for families in the Lower Merion community. It turns the official school menus into a simple, fun weekly and monthly experience with kid-friendly food icons.

Why did you create LunchyMenu?

The official menus on SchoolCafe are useful, but our family wanted a fun, kid-friendly, at-a-glance view across multiple schools. With plenty of help from his kids, Dad built the first version of our calendars. Friends who saw them asked for copies of their own, and we realized the menus could help more than just our family. LunchyMenu was born.

An unofficial convenience

LunchyMenu is not affiliated with Lower Merion School District, any individual school, or SchoolCafe. Menus can change, so SchoolCafe remains the official source for menus, ingredients, allergens, nutrition information, and adding funds to student lunch accounts. Visit SchoolCafe for LMSD.
