Add LunchyMenu to Your Home Screen

LunchyMenu is a web app rather than an App Store or Google Play app. Add it to your phone’s Home Screen for a LunchyMenu icon that opens directly to your family’s menus.

iPhone or iPad

Using Safari

  1. Open lunchymenu.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button. Depending on your Safari layout, you may first tap the More button.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Turn on Open as Web App.
  5. Tap Add.

If Add to Home Screen is missing, scroll to the bottom of the actions list, tap Edit Actions, and add it.

Android

Using Chrome

  1. Open lunchymenu.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap More (the three dots beside the address bar).
  3. Tap Install and create shortcut, then Install.
  4. Follow the prompts to place LunchyMenu on your Home Screen.

Depending on your Chrome version, the option may instead say Install app or Add to Home screen.

Samsung Galaxy

Using Samsung Internet

  1. Open lunchymenu.com in Samsung Internet.
  2. Tap Menu (the three horizontal lines).
  3. Tap Add page to.
  4. Choose Home screen, then confirm by tapping Add.

Menu names can vary slightly by Samsung Internet and One UI version.

After installing: Open LunchyMenu from its new icon. If asked, choose your schools again—the Home Screen version may keep preferences separately from your regular browser.
